WHY DO PEOPLE VAPE?
Electronic cigarettes are an effective and cheaper replacement for paper cigarettes without many of the drawbacks. The vapor leaves no lingering odor, batteries are easily recharged and safer than a lighter, and many of the laws applying to paper cigarettes don’t currently apply to electronic as they do not produce smoke. A cartridge – which can generally replace a pack or two of cigarettes – usually costs $2 to $4.
There is much debate about the health impact of electronic cigarettes versus traditional cigarettes. According to the FDA, electronic cigarettes may contain toxic materials. However, we believe that with research, electronic cigarettes will be found to have significantly reduced long-term health effects when compared to traditional cigarettes.
HOW DO YOU VAPE?
Electronic cigarettes work in one of two ways. In most simpler (and often disposable or semi-disposable) electronic cigarettes, the simple act of drawing on the end of an electronic cigarette with your breath activates the electronics. In others, a button is used to manually activate the device at the same time as you draw on it.
WHAT’S IN ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE VAPOR?
Electronic cigarettes contain a reservoir of flavored liquid (called e-liquid) which often contains 3 parts: a base, flavor, and nicotine. The base is often Propylene Glycol (PG), Vegetable Glycerin (VG), or a combination of the two. These bases are often used in medical inhalants and are considered safe for people to inhale and ingest. The make-up of the flavor in e-liquid depends on the flavor and the company (though many try to use natural flavors where they can).
Any e-liquid or pre-filled electronic cigarette should be clearly marked with a nicotine amount. The amount is usually between zero (no nicotine at all) and 24mg (strong). These totals are per milliliter.
WHAT IS THE VAPE CHALLENGE?
The Vape Challenge is a 4-week introduction to electronic cigarette use. The goal is to replace one pack of smoking a week with vaping.
WHO IS THE VAPE CHALLENGE FOR?
The Vape Challenge is designed for smokers residing in the United States that have not tried electronic cigarettes or have not been successful with electronic cigarettes but believe they could be. The surveys and videos provided as part of the challenge are geared toward new users. Even the starter kit you’ll receive is tailor made for folks that aren’t familiar with electronic cigarettes.
If you aren’t new to electronic cigarettes but would still like free electronic cigarette stuff, head over to the Advanced reviews. There’s giveaways and contests weekly and basic activity will grant you points that you can use to purchase kits, liquids, and mods in the Advanced Rewards Store. Please leave the challenge to people that can truly benefit from it.
WHY DO PEOPLE TAKE THE VAPE CHALLENGE?
There’s No Commitment! In exchange for the free kit, we only ask that you complete a small survey each of the four weeks of the challenge. Though we would like to see our members succeed, we understand that vaping won’t be for everyone. Success is not required. Keep the free kit. You can give it to a friend if nothing else. We still ask that you complete the applicable parts of any remaining surveys.
It’s (Almost) Free! Enrolling in the Vape Challenge entitles you to a free starter kit (normally $40 to $70) from any of our sponsor companies. You just pay a shipping and handling cost of $4.
Lots Of Support! As a challenger, you will have access to the Vape Challenge Forum where our support squad and mentors will answer questions and encourage your growth as an electronic cigarette user. As you progress through the challenge, you will be invited to become a mentor within or share your experience with the community.
We’re Real! We understand that there are a great deal of scams out there which have contributed to rampant skepticism where free stuff online is concerned. For that reason, our support community forums are open for your browsing. You can see testimonials, conversations, and information about the program posted by real people that are taking part in it. You won’t be able to participate in the forums until you enroll in the challenge, but hopefully it won’t be long before you decide to give it a shot. We think it’s well worth it!
ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?
Participants must have a United States mailing address and a functional email account. Limit of one participant per household. Kits are available as long as supplies last. A waiting list will be available if supplies do run out. We do not guarantee the longevity, quality, or effectiveness of the products you receive (that’s up to the manufacturers).
